Today, I will share one such easy and healthy recipe – Oats Pancake.
Oats Pancake
This is my child’s favourite breakfast. The speciality of this recipe is that there is No Egg, Wheat, Maida, Sugar or Jaggery.
Yes, you read it right!
There is no egg, so if your family is vegetarian, this will be your kids’ go-to meal.
Yes, it’s free from Maida and Sugar. The perfect healthy breakfast without having to worry about sugar spikes.
And you don’t even need wheat flour. It’s super simple and can be made with a handful of ingredients.
This Oats Pancake recipe is uncomplicated and foolproof. Even beginners can successfully try it.Â

Possible Side Effects
There are no side effects as we use only minimal ingredients. However, if your child is allergic to any of the listed ingredients, please avoid those specific ingredients or substitute them with something suitable for your child.

Oats Pancake – No Egg, No Sugar, No Maida
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 Ripe Banana 1 Banana if its small
- 4-5 Almonds
- 4-5 Walnuts
- 1 tsp Chia Seeds
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 pinch Elachi Powder Optional
- Ghee/Butter
- Water As needed – approx 3/4 cup
Instructions
- Keep all the ingredients ready.
- Place oats, nuts, and chia seeds in a blender and grind them until finely mixed.
- Once the above mixture is ground, add banana, milk, and water to the blender as needed and grind them again.
- The batter should not be too thin or watery. It should be slightly thinner than dosa batter, so add water to achieve this consistency.
- Allow the batter to rest for 15 minutes.
- Check the batter again. If it’s too thick, add a little water until it reaches the desired dosa batter consistency.
- Preheat a non-stick pan of your choice. Add a few drops of ghee or butter according to your preference, and then pour approximately half a ladle of batter onto it. Gently spread the batter without applying too much pressure. The pancake should be thick.
- Cook the pancake over low to medium heat. When one side is cooked, flip the pancake to cook the other side.
- Your pancake is now ready to be served. You can enjoy it with honey or maple syrup according to your preference
